Introduction to service

Staffordshire Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner’s Office (PFCC) is committed to supporting every child and young person in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to develop the skills and knowledge they need to thrive now and in the future.

Since December 2021, the PFCC funded 2 PSHE Coordinator posts for Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent to support the development and delivery of age (and stage) appropriate, quality, consistent and inclusive PSHE education across city and county. 

The Pan-Staffordshire PSHE Education Service will:  

  • Ensure consistency and quality in the development of PSHE education
  • Promote consistent, inclusive, age (and stage) appropriate, evidence-based teaching
  • Build confidence through training, resources and professional networks
  • Strengthen the voice of parents, carers, children, and young people in shaping local PSHE provision.
